Wash And Software: Fashion Gets Digital

March 18th, 2010

In days past the thought of a computerized shirt able to transmit information like heart health, body temperature and stress index seemed like science fiction. The idea computerized clothes could change design, automatically lifting or lowering hems, light up at night, change with the weather and interface with other clothes was a futuristic concept. Computer technology continues to evolve, pushed forward by new materials and size reduction of components. In the not to distant future a man may walk into a Long Island computer repair shop and ask if anyone can fix his pants. Someday a Long Island computer might be a lap top, a hand held or a pair of shoes. Flexible light weight materials|Light and pliable resources} are bringing a new meaning to the term soft ware.

In the recent past there has been the introduction of metallic yarn, fiber that has been imbued with conductive capabilities, leading to the development of digital fabric. This material can be used to create clothing that can support computer functions. With the advent of nano technology and flexible circuitry institutions and companies have begun creating prototypes of cyberwear. The potential is infinite and computerized clothes are already being made.

Envision a shirt that can log and broadcast vital signs, location and mobility. If a person has heart trouble, the shirt could function like a digital caretaker, monitoring the heart and even administering medication. A piece of clothing could monitor a heart beat, its tempo, strength and consistency. If there is a problem it could send out a wireless signal to a practitioner who would be able to contact the person by phone or pant leg. A sensor could inform an implanted medical capsule to administer a dose of medicine for the patient. Or perhaps it can offer an early warning alarm if the persons pulse is showing troubling signs, like maybe the buttons could start glowing red.

An athlete may wear a track suit that can record his strides, heartbeats, muscle contractions and various other bits of information that can benefit his or her training. Shoes can record the distance and number of steps. They could even be designed to adapt to various terrain or demand. Wireless signals could be transmitted so an athlete in one part of the country could share a workout with an athlete in another part of the country. Perhaps someday clothes will be able to scan their environment and project them on the fiber making for the ultimate camouflage. There are already musical jackets and outfits that can light up and change color as the wearer moves.

Computer wear is being developed. Digital clothes will have many uses from entertainment and fashion, to medical and military. Computerized clothing is not fantasy. Cyberwears’ uses are limited only by imagination. Technology is advancing rapidly enough to make nearly any computer fashion dream a reality.

Great Free Games For Your Browser

March 17th, 2010

The online games is really captivating. That’s why I’m writing reviews regarding games from time to time to tell you of new and hip titles, that are all, totally free!

Reviewed games are usually varied because that is sort of the point of the article, but when it comes to miscellaneous games, that is simply a defining characteristic. These four games are varied in nature and in kind, thus offering a different challenge in each case.
The first game is Behind Golden Bars and features a effortless plot that gets more convoluted as time passes. You control a red cube, and your mission is to avoid the lines when they turn golden. These multiply and change throughout the game, giving you a little time to move somewhere safe. Your fingers must move swiftly enough to do this as many times as possible – it can all be over in just a matter of minutes.

Climbing Ninja is a different kind of game, more action oriented. As a black warrior your goal is to visit and fulfill all levels. This implies collecting a certain amount of coins (that will be converted into money that you can spend at the shop) and overcoming many deadly obstacles. The money that you earn (which will be saved even if you cannot complete the temple you are in) can be used to buy onigari, lives, or special methods that will help you get more points. These abilities are activated by pressing the equivalent number key, as they appear at the left of the screen. While at the temple, your task is facilitated by some sort of rustic helicopters carrying banners with hints regarding the dodgy obstacles you are about to face. If you pay notice to them, you might even have a chance at making it a few more minutes.

Thought this article ends? Not yet, Guitar Crazy Maniac Deluxe 2 is a flash version of console game favorite Guitar Hero. You decide on your own guitar (a Les Paul or a pink Stratocaster), set the level of capability (amateur or pro), and you start rocking your way through four or six different songs, depending on the level of difficulty. Each performance grants you award points, thus unlocking more guitars and songs that you can ultimately download as mp3 files, for your listening pleasure. Oddly enough, this game will probably be easier on organ players, since the guitar is controlled by means of the keyboard, but all in all it is an equal source of fun for all music fans.

To end with, we have Tilt.. This is a sort of 3D board game, which makes it challenging in a complete different way. You have to use your mouse in order to move the board so that the black ball gets into the blue circle; that is the target of the game. As you complete levels, difficulty rises in many different ways: you get multiple black balls and different blue circles, dampening fields that affect the speed of the ball, holes that remove the balls from the game thus preventing you from carrying out the level, and gravitation fields that must be worked around. The game demands both stratagem and a toss of luck, for good measure.

Tips To Choose A Registry Cleaner

January 28th, 2010

registryWhen it comes to maintaining a computer, there is no aspect that is more dangerous for a normal user than for him/ her to modify the Windows registry. This modification is usually done as a last resort when troubleshooting of issues is being done. If you look at the documentation, it clearly states that only advanced users should modify the registry. This is because if the Windows registry is messed up, the computer’s software may stop working. Worse still, the computer may not even boot up.

The difficult job of cleaning up the registry should be done by a good registry cleaning program, which scans your computer and locates and cleans out common issues. The pros and cons of many registry cleaning programs are available on the Internet and you can peruse these carefully. When choosing a program, ensure that it is one that allows you to take a backup of your settings and does a thorough job of cleaning the registry. Also check on money back guarantees with the seller.

In order to test and choose a good registry cleaner, you will need to set up multiple computers with the same identical features, software and operating systems and include the same registry problems in all. Review the results of running each cleaner program and compare the results.

While there are many sites that provide you comparisons, it is advised to do your own research before choosing a program. As you use your computer, you will find that this will be very beneficial.
