Hardware and OS used in our tests
We tested RegCure on a Lenovo ThinkPad T61 Core 2 Duo, with a genuine Vista Ultimate installed. This machine is pretty fast as it is, but we wanted to run RegCure on it to see if optimizing the Vista registry could make this machine boot and work even faster.

Can RegCure make your PC or laptop run faster?
Before we scanned the registry with RegCure, we recorded the start up time of Vista, which turned out to be 2 minutes and 5 seconds. After RegCure fixed all errors, we took out our stopwatch again, and this time the machine took only 1 minute and 14 seconds to boot. An impressive 40% improvement!
Given the above results, we are pretty happy with RegCure, and will continue to test it on different flavors of Vista to see how well it performs.
